About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our IT team at Barbour, a leading lifestyle brand with a rich history dating back to 1894. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing a well-architected, flexible, scalable, and secure applications landscape that supports our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain the systems architecture model to provide a flexible, robust, and scalable solutions blueprint for our global operations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, software vendors, systems integrators, and IT teams to design and present solution options.
  • Review proposed solutions to ensure they meet business requirements while conforming to defined IT standards and requirements.
  • Coach System Analysts in solutions, application technology, and architecture and integration design.
  • Provide leadership and expertise in supporting systems failures, major incidents, system integration testing, and complex support and integration issues.
  • Represent Barbour in external projects with customers and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Expertise in Infor Cloudsuite technologies, including MEC, ION, and Mongoose.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies, such as MS SQL Server Stack, Azure, and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong background in development roles, with expertise in SQL Server development, especially TSQL, SSIS, and deployment strategies.
  • Integration technologies, including APIs, XML, and payloads and protocols.
  • Data base architecture and business process / workflow mapping.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience of working with Agile project delivery methodology.
