About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our IT team at Barbour, a leading lifestyle brand with a rich history of innovation and excellence. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a well-architected, flexible, scalable, and secure applications landscape that supports our business operations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, software vendors, systems integrators, and IT teams to design and present solution options.
  • Review proposed solutions to ensure they meet business requirements while conforming to defined IT standards and requirements.
  • Provide leadership and expertise in supporting systems failures, major incidents, system integration testing, and complex support and integration issues.
  • Represent Barbour in external projects with customers and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of ERP, MRP, B2B, and B2C systems and integration.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies such as MS SQL Server Stack, Azure, and Azure DevOps.
  • Expert SQL Server developer skills, especially TSQL, SSIS, and deployment strategies.
  • Integration technologies including APIs, XML, and payloads and protocols.
  • Database architecture expertise.
  • Experience working with Agile project delivery methodology.
  • Expert business analysis skills to facilitate successful discovery workshops.
