We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our IT team at Barbour. As a key member of our Business Systems team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing a well-architected, flexible, scalable, and secure applications landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Define and maintain the systems architecture model to provide a flexible, robust, and scalable solutions blueprint for our global operations.
- Work with business stakeholders, software vendors, systems integrators, and IT teams to design and present solution options.
- Review proposed solutions to ensure they meet business requirements while conforming to defined IT standards and requirements.
- Coach System Analysts in solutions, application technology, and architecture and integration design.
- Provide leadership and expertise in supporting systems failures, major incidents, system integration testing, and complex support and integration issues.
- Product Owner for assigned systems, maintaining backlogs, defining product roadmaps, and assessing capabilities that could enhance the efficiency and capabilities of the company.
- Expertise in Infor Cloudsuite technologies, including MEC, ION, and Mongoose.
- Microsoft technologies such as MS SQL Server Stack, Azure, and Azure DevOps.
- Expert SQL Server developer, especially TSQL, SSIS, and deployment strategies.
- Integration technologies, including APIs, XML, and payloads and protocols.
- Database architecture.
- Business process/workflow mapping.
- Strong background in development roles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of working with Agile project delivery methodology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build strong relationships across business functions.
- Ability to build relationships and influence at a senior management level.
