Finance Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Officer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will support the Head of Finance with various financial services tasks and manage day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the Head of Finance with tasks relating to financial services
* Manage day-to-day financial services in liaison with the Head of Finance
* Administer the bank account(s), including processing BACS payments
* Prepare the monthly payroll submission accurately and on time

Requirements:

* GCSE or equivalent in English language and mathematics at grade C or above
* Dedicated financial management experience
* Significant experience in the day-to-day management of accounting software
* Ability to design, maintain, and develop financial systems
* Experience of managing finance within a charitable organisation is highly desirable

Benefits:

* Competitive pro rata salary of £29,228
* 25 days annual holiday entitlement, increasing to 30 days after 5 years' service, plus bank holidays
