We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Trevor Gibbens Unit at Maidstone within the Forensic directorate.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate therapeutic interventions for identified service users.
- Manage a defined caseload of service users with occupational needs using evidence-based, service-user-centered, hope, and recovery principles.
- Liaise with service users, family, carers, advocates, and health and social care professionals to ensure continuity of care and delivery of a coordinated service.
- Ensure all communication adheres to Trust policy and Caldicott/data protection principles.
- Relevant qualifications and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Pre-registration experience of working with patients with autism and/or mental health conditions.
- Experience of working within the NHS and managing a caseload.
