At Pendragon Group, we are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our software development team as a graduate software developer. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or final-year student to kick-start their career in software development and work on meaningful projects that make a direct impact on our business and that of our customers.

Our graduate scheme is designed to provide you with a solid foundation in software development, and upon successful completion, you can expect a promotion to software developer.

As a graduate software developer, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, from developing new features to improving existing ones. You will be part of a talented development team, working closely with experienced developers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for technology and programming, a strong team ethic, and solid communication skills. If you are eager to learn and develop your skillset, we want to support you in achieving your goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop software solutions using a range of technologies, including ASP.Net Core, Razor Pages, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and Visual Studio.
  • Work closely with the development team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Continuously learn and develop your skills, with access to Pluralsight and regular training sessions.

What we offer:

  • A competitive starting salary of £30,000 per annum, plus a £2,000 bonus upon successful completion of the graduate scheme.

What we're looking for:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field, at a 2:1 or above.
  • An analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills.
  • A positive can-do attitude, as well as the motivation to work hard and build upon your current skillset.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
