Cornell Search is partnering with a dynamic Venture Capital fund active across various tech sectors, including B2B software and fintech. The fund empowers visionary entrepreneurs at the forefront of successful early to growth-stage companies across Europe and the US.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Strategic Operations Partner to join our client's team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the ongoing growth and development of the fund by supporting the General Partner across a wide range of activities, including strategic initiatives, operational efficiency, and investor relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Partner with driving strategic projects.
  • Lead operational initiatives and make informed decisions based on data and analysis.
  • Support the Investment team throughout various stages of the deal process.
  • Prepare various communications, including reports, presentations, and fund updates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the business.
  • Represent the fund at networking events, conferences, and meetings.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of top-tier consulting experience.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to drive initiatives with a certain level of autonomy.
  • Ideal candidates will have demonstrable experience in a start-up or entrepreneurial environment and understand the nuances and challenges faced in this environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with entrepreneurs and investors.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in Spanish being advantageous.
