The Opportunity

Cornell Search is partnering with a prominent Venture Capital fund to find a highly skilled Chief of Staff/Founders Associate. The ideal candidate will support the General Partner in driving strategic initiatives, improving operational efficiency, and building strong relationships with investors and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive strategic projects and initiatives to support the fund's growth and development.
  • Lead operational improvements and make data-driven decisions to enhance the fund's performance.
  • Support the Investment team throughout the deal process, from sourcing to closing.
  • Prepare high-quality communications, including reports, presentations, and fund updates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Represent the fund at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in top-tier consulting, with a strong track record of project management and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent analytical skills and financial acumen, with the ability to drive initiatives with autonomy.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience in start-ups or entrepreneurial environments, with a deep understanding of the challenges and nuances of these settings.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with entrepreneurs and investors.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in Spanish being a plus.
