About the Role:
  1. Deliver supportive and non-judgmental spaces for individuals experiencing menopause symptoms, utilizing empathy and understanding.
  2. Cultivate strong relationships with group members, leveraging exceptional interpersonal skills and active listening.
  3. Participate in training sessions to expand knowledge of community support services, ensuring volunteers can effectively connect individuals with resources.
  4. Attend regular meetings and wellbeing sessions, prioritizing volunteer well-being and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor, crucial for building trust and rapport with group members.
  • Excellent social skills and communication abilities, enabling effective interaction with diverse individuals.
  • Patient and empathetic listening skills, vital for providing emotional support and guidance.
  • Knowledge of local community support services (desired), allowing volunteers to make informed referrals and connections.
  • 12-month commitment (preferably), ensuring stability and consistency in the role.
