We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Team Leader to join our team at City Care Partnership in Whalley Range, Manchester. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and Autistic Spectrum Condition.

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading independent provider of specialist services for adults with learning disabilities and Autistic Spectrum Condition. Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader role, a full manual UK driving licence, and knowledge of learning disabilities and Autistic Spectrum Condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service User Support
    • Design, implement, and manage individual support plans tailored to each service user's unique needs.
    • Uphold personal dignity, choice, and independence for those we support.
    • Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for personal and community engagement.
    • Periodically review and update individual care plans, promoting fair access to health services.
  • Staff Management
    • Develop and manage staff rotas, organise team meetings, and ensure effective communication and follow-up.
    • Identify training needs, supervise, and support staff development to maintain a skilled, compassionate team.
    • Participate in recruitment and induction processes for new staff, ensuring they complete necessary certifications.
  • Administration and Compliance
    • Accurately manage required documentation, including care plans, safety procedures, and financial records.
    • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and Care Standards, carrying out regular audits and reviews.
  • Community and Family Liaison
    • Foster positive relationships with families, advocates, and external organisations.
    • Actively represent and promote the values of City Care Partnership in all interactions.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader who can lead a team and make sound decisions under pressure. The ideal candidate will have a full manual UK driving licence, knowledge of learning disabilities and Autistic Spectrum Condition, and experience in supported living.
