Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Haematology CNS, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and leading our haematology team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of patients diagnosed with and having treatment for haematological malignancies
  • Collaborate and liaise with consultant medical staff, ward/departmental staff, and other CNSs to provide seamless evidence-based holistic care
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring the highest standards of care and patient satisfaction
  • Lead and mentor junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning
  • Contribute to the development of haematology services, ensuring alignment with national cancer policies and procedures

Requirements

  • NMC Registration
  • Extensive experience of working within a haematology environment
  • Post-registration qualification relevant to the role
  • Experience of working within the Clinical Nurse Specialist role or similar senior level
  • Knowledge of relevant national cancer policies and procedures
  • Leadership experience
