Job Summary

Zodiac Maritime, a leading international ship operating company, is seeking an experienced Chartering Manager - Containers to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our commercial department, you will be responsible for the employment of our fleet of containerships, ensuring optimal commercial performance and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs
  • Manage relationships with key charterers, joint venture partners, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct market analysis and provide insights to inform business decisions
  • Negotiate and conclude charter agreements, contracts of affreightment, and other commercial documents
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Provide regular market updates and analysis to executive management

Requirements

  • Proven experience in container chartering and shipping operations
  • Strong knowledge of container market segments, vessel design, and cargo requirements
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with ability to support decisions with sound reasoning and judgment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with key contacts
  • Commercial aptitude and ability to drive business results
  • Self-motivated, focused, and driven to achieve results in a fast-paced environment
