Children's Social Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Children’s Leaving Care Team in Wolverhampton Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality social work services to vulnerable children and families.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child welfare, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Social Worker within a UK-based Children’s Social Work team. They will be able to work effectively under a supportive Team Manager and contribute to child safety efforts.
- Manage complex caseloads and prioritize tasks effectively
- Develop and implement personalized care plans for children
- Liaise with other agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support
This role offers a competitive salary (estimated £46,000 per annum) and a range of benefits, including a Kindle Fire, Amazon voucher, and free online training access.
Candidates should hold a DipSW or equivalent, be registered with the HCPC, and possess a valid car driving license. A current DBS is also essential.
