Job Overview

The Sterling Choice is seeking a highly skilled Technical Quality Lead to drive food safety, compliance, and quality across our site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety, legal, and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and improve GMP, HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP controls to maintain a high level of quality and safety.
  • Manage audits, including BRC and customer audits, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Handle complaints, product conformance, and root cause analysis to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Coach and develop the QC and Hygiene teams to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and external audits to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within a similar food manufacturing role with a strong understanding of food safety and compliance.
  • Level 3 Food Safety & HACCP certification is essential.
  • Experience with BRCGS and customer standards is highly desirable.
  • People management experience is necessary to lead and develop the QC and Hygiene teams.
