We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality and Governance Officer to join our team at Elizabeth School of London. This is a new role that reflects our commitment to delivering an excellent student experience and developing good governance practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our Quality and Standards Framework and Governance Framework, as well as ensuring compliance with the Office for Students (OfS) Regulatory Framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Quality team and collaborate with partner universities
  • Develop and implement the Quality and Standards Framework and Governance Framework
  • Assist the Dean of Quality/Deputy Registrar in ensuring compliance with the OfS Regulatory Framework
  • Carry out duties assigned by the Dean of Quality/Deputy Registrar
  • Ensure relevant policies and key documents are up to date with relevant legislation and the OfS
  • Lead or assist ESL's schedule for Quality Assurance
  • Service an allocation of committees
  • Develop expert knowledge of internal quality assurance and governance mechanisms
  • Provide advice to colleagues as appropriate
  • Develop expert knowledge of national regulation and advisory bodies
  • Write guidance documents on various themes
  • Contribute to the writing of committee papers
  • Develop the use of qualitative and quantitative data in monitoring the performance of the ESL academic portfolio
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognised university or significant work experience relevant to the role
  • Advanced knowledge of ICT software
  • Experience in servicing meetings
  • Experience of one or more HE QA procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
