About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Foster Care Development Lead to join our Olive Branch Fostering team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the quality of our foster care services.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in children's services and foster care delivery, with excellent leadership and management skills. You will be responsible for managing a team of social workers, providing guidance and oversight to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and services to our foster families and children.

This exciting opportunity offers a salary range of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including generous annual leave and a refer-a-friend scheme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of our foster care services
  • Manage a team of social workers to deliver high-quality care and services to foster families and children
  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with current legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Recruit, assess, and approve foster carers, presenting written reports and undertaking independent visits
Requirements
  • Dip SW/CQSW/Social Work Degree
  • Current SWE registration
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience in children's services and foster care delivery
