Job Title: Contracts Manager

Morrison Energy Services is seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our team in Colchester. As a key member of our UK Power Networks Contract, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects within a programme of works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery of projects to meet timescales and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Technical policies/procedures.
  • Lead and develop direct staff within the project development and project management teams.
  • Provide commercial and programme support to ensure works are delivered profitably.
  • Track and demonstrate progress through project development stages.
  • Contribute to the MES project governance process.
  • Assist in scoping new projects and creating project delivery programmes.
  • Ensure full compliance with MES procedures and current legislation.
  • Plan and programme current and future works.
  • Participate in the senior leadership team on the contract.
  • Ensure staff have adequate training and competencies.
Requirements:
  • Sound understanding of engineering policy, procedure, and legislation.
  • Sound decision-making skills.
  • NEBOSH Safety Management qualification.
  • Experience in Utility Contracting or Local Authority is desirable.
  • Full UK Driving Licence essential.
