About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Product Owner to join our team. As a Web Product Owner, you will be responsible for the roadmap of web-related products, including content management systems, analytics, and interactive channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Line Management and leadership of the Web Product Team
  • Acting as product owner/champion for one or more products or services
  • Managing the full product life cycle to ensure that customer/user needs are met and that financial and other targets are achieved
  • Selecting, adopting and adapting appropriate product development methods, tools, and techniques
  • Analysing market and/or user research, feedback, expert opinion and usage data to understand needs and opportunities
Requirements
  • A commercial approach developing web products, ensuring that maximum impact and value is achieved from investment
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • A clear customer focus through building influential networks, advising and engaging appropriate stakeholders in decision-making processes and delivery
  • To solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments
  • Able to offer persuasive professional and creative advice to help inform decisions and deliver projects
Desirable Skills
  • Product management methodologies and frameworks
  • User Research knowledge and principles
  • User Centred Design knowledge and principles
  • An understanding of accessibility regulations and the importance of accessibility to web products
  • Web analytics, including interpretation data to drive product developments
  • Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs
  • Up to date with latest web technologies and trends
