Job Description

A Health, Safety and Environment Manager is required to join our team at a global manufacturing organisation. The company is looking for a passionate and approachable professional to drive Health, Safety and Environment across the site and support the Head of HSE.

Main responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of the Group HSE strategy and associated plans for the business.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and corporate requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the onsite HSE Advisor.
  • Implement and promote a positive Health and Safety culture across the site.
  • Deliver continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environment standards and practices.
  • Provide training to prevent accidents and conduct risk assessments.
  • Support the Head of HSE with projects and campaigns.
  • Chair and present internal meetings.

Requirements:

  • A NEBOSH Certificate is essential, with a NEBOSH Diploma desirable.
  • Prior Health, Safety and Environmental experience at a senior advisor or regional or managerial level is essential.
  • Manufacturing/Production experience is essential, ideally within a fast-paced environment like Food and Beverage.

We are looking for a confident and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to influence and engage others, getting buy-in at all levels.
