Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Secure Setting

A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Nurse to work in a secure hospital setting. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with mental illness and personality disorder.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Mental Health Act and experience working in a secure setting. Proven assessment and care planning skills are essential, as well as excellent organisation and communication skills.
We offer a competitive annual salary of £34,900 - £37,227, plus a range of benefits including a £5,000 welcome bonus, subsidised professional membership, and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a high standard of care to patients with mental illness and personality disorder
- Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
- Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
- Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Good understanding of the Mental Health Act
- Experience within a secure setting desirable
- Proven assessment and care planning experience
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Flexibility to work across the services within our site
