We are working with a school that caters for children with special needs and emotional issues in Chesham.

This role is ideal for graduates or those aspiring to be Education Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, or Occupational Therapists who want to gain experience working with students with special needs.

The pupils have various needs including SEMH, Autism, and behavioral difficulties. Therefore, we are looking for committed individuals who can provide support and consistency in the classroom.

A key aspect of this role will be supporting pupils with their mental health and well-being, as well as providing educational support to help them reach their full potential.

Experience working with children in various settings would be beneficial, but it's not essential. What's more important is your passion for working with children and your ability to build positive relationships with them.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement plans to support pupils with special needs.

The salary for this role is approximately £22,000-£28,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
