Job Description:

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a large and supportive Primary school in Pinner.

The school provides an inclusive environment for students with Special Educational Needs, who require 1 to 1 support. Many of the students are Autistic, so experience working with children with Autism is critical.

The school has excellent facilities for their SEND students, including a separate unit designed to accelerate progress for SEND Students, which contains a sensory room.

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who can provide high-quality support to our students and contribute to a friendly, enthusiastic, and skilled team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs
  • To work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement tailored educational plans
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and development
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with Autism and other Special Educational Needs
  • Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a primary school is highly advantageous
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate positively with colleagues, parents, and carers
