Establish a prominent communications presence for Q-BIOMED, the UK’s leading quantum biomedical research hub.

This pivotal role involves developing and implementing an ambitious communication strategy to amplify the Hub’s impact nationally and internationally.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading large-scale communication initiatives and event management. They will be skilled in website design, social media campaigns, and press releases, with experience in managing high-profile events.

A strong ability to work under pressure, lead programmes, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders is essential. A positive attitude, flexibility, and capacity to adapt to changing demands are also key requirements.

In this senior position, you will report directly to Professor McKendry, PI and Co-Director of Q-BIOMED. The appointment comes with a salary range of £52,000 – £61,000 per annum, plus a London Allowance, reflecting the role’s seniority and outstanding experience required.

Beyond the core responsibilities, this role offers various benefits, including 41 days’ holiday, annual leave purchase scheme, defined benefit pension scheme, cycle-to-work scheme, and enhanced maternity and paternity pay.
