About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finishing Manager to join our team at Churchill Retirement Living Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality finishing aspects of our one and two bedroom retirement apartments are completed to the highest standard.

You will work closely with our Site Manager to successfully manage the finishing aspects of our developments, working to tight deadlines to ensure the development is completed snag free. This will involve snagging, organising sub-contractors, completing snag lists, maintaining and promoting Health & Safety and environmental standards, and reporting the progression of the site to the Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the high-quality finishing aspects of our developments
  • Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure the development is completed to the highest standard
  • Snagging, organising sub-contractors, and completing snag lists
  • Maintaining and promoting Health & Safety and environmental standards
  • Reporting the progression of the site to the Site Manager
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A CSCS Supervisor Card
  • Extensive experience carrying out a similar role working in new build residential apartments
  • Assertive and calm under pressure to meet numerous construction deadlines
  • Ability to influence and liaise with a wide range of external suppliers, specialists, and in-house teams
  • Discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Relevant site experience and sound knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
  • Qualification as a First Aider at Work
