About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Care Support Professional to join our team at Wood Care Group. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a real difference in people's lives. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and assisting with meals.
  • Assisting with medication rounds and leading shifts as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a care home environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of leading a team and providing guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • A flexible approach to work, with the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
