Job Overview
4Recruitment Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Worker to join its team in providing end of life care services. The successful candidate will work closely with the existing team to deliver person-centred care and emotional support to individuals and their families, ensuring their final wishes are met.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical, practical, and emotional support to individuals in their daily lives and self-care, upholding their rights as adults.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality care and support, prioritising individual needs and preferences.
- Attend to personal needs, follow support plans, including personal care and manual handling.
- Support with daily tasks, such as domestic chores and medication management.
- Ensure individuals with learning disabilities have opportunities to achieve their ambitions and aspirations in their community.
- Foster relationships and encourage service users to maintain social connections.
- Promote safe environments by addressing property issues, general maintenance, health and safety, and risk management.
Requirements
- A valid UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and business insurance.
- Experience in end-of-life care and provision of personal care.
- Enhanced DBS registration and commitment to maintaining this status.
Estimated Salary: £14.13 per hour, approximately £28,400 per annum (based on 37 hours/week). This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while developing your skills and expertise in palliative care.
