Job Title: Youth Development Specialist - Tenancy Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Youth Development Specialist to join our team in a housing environment. As a key worker, you will support young people (18-25 years) in achieving their goals and developing life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide and update action plans and risk assessments
• Offer encouragement and support to young people in supported accommodation
• Be part of an on-site team supporting young residents with their living needs
• Ensure young people are supported in developing life skills to move into the community

Requirements:

• A drive to find solutions in supporting young people with diverse backgrounds
• An understanding of young people's needs and interests, allowing appropriate action plans to be made
• A passion for providing immediate care and support for young people with safeguarding and emotional and mental health issues
• Having a resilient and flexible nature when dealing with others
• Being able to work under pressure while producing support plans and meeting deadlines
• Happy to work alone or in a team environment
• A positive, creative approach, with a can-do attitude while maintaining professional boundaries
• To hold a valid driving licence
