Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-organized Family Engagement Coordinator to join our Family Team. This role will involve working directly with charity beneficiaries, including parents and carers of children with serious and complex health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a well-defined membership experience for the WellChild Family Tree, attracting and engaging families from across the UK.
  • Provide high-quality content and regular communications to members, including programme updates, event invitations, and support resources.
  • Work closely with the Family Programme Manager to develop and implement strategies for expanding the WellChild Family Tree network.
  • Take ownership of and deliver a range of family engagement activities, events, and communications, including online forums and social media groups.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of family engagement services and programmes.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Proven experience in family engagement, programme delivery, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by families with seriously ill children.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
