Cpl Healthcare seeks an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team in Belfast. The successful candidate will work closely with the Northern Ireland Civil Service to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review and update health and safety procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  2. Develop and deliver health and safety training programmes to promote a culture of health and safety.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and provide expert advice on duty of care responsibilities.
Main Job Activities
  1. Develop and deliver annual health and safety work programmes, including proactive and reactive monitoring of health and safety performance.
  2. Conduct incident investigations, analyse trends, and provide practical advice to prevent future incidents.
  3. Network and liaise with other departments and organisations to share best practices and promote health and safety excellence.
  4. Require a minimum of 2 years' experience in managing quality services, identifying improvements, and meeting diverse customer requirements.
  5. Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent, with at least 2 years of demonstrable experience delivering health and safety advice.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
