Job Summary:
HAR Labcorp Early Development Laboratories Limited is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to provide leadership and direction in minimizing EHS-related risk for our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee EHS operations for our facilities and manage a team of reports.
- Manage and administer environmental, health, and safety programs to meet regulatory requirements and corporate objectives.
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
- Partner with site management to ensure applicable EHS-related goals and regulatory requirements are satisfied.
- Perform supervisory duties for the EHS Department, including recruitment, performance evaluation, and career development.
- Provide advice and assessment on EHS-related risks, including biological agents, chemical safety, waste management, and emergency response.
- Prevent work-related injuries and illnesses, and ensure accidents are reported and reviewed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Life or Physical Sciences.
- Extensive experience working in a laboratory or research and development setting or similar chemical or high-hazard industry.
- EHS experience from the above industries.
- Professional certification in Health and Safety and Biosafety.
- Occupational Hygiene and Environmental qualification desirable.
- Strong communication, people, and presentation skills.
- Professional memberships, such as CertIOSH or BSP Level 1/RSP Registered Biorisk Specialist.
