Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Cover Supervisor to join our team of education professionals at Academics Ltd. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of education in our schools, covering classes during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage lessons already set out for classes, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Implement school policies and procedures for pupil behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful atmosphere.
  • Cover and supervise a range of subjects and key stages, adapting to the needs of different classes and students.
  • Maintain pupil engagement and motivation, encouraging active participation and learning.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar role, with a strong understanding of education principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • A good understanding of child safeguarding practices and policies, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Proficient in using technology, such as Microsoft Office packages, to support teaching and learning.
