Job Title: Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at a Good Ofsted rated Secondary School in the Barnet area. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school, providing support to students and staff, and contributing to a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead classes in the absence of the regular teacher, maintaining a supportive and productive learning environment for students.
  • Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents, fostering a collaborative school community.
  • Apply your subject knowledge and expertise to support student learning and engagement across various subjects and age groups.
  • Assist with classroom management and administrative tasks, developing your organizational and leadership skills.
  • Gain valuable experience that aligns with your academic background and interests, helping you make informed decisions about your future career path.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any field.
  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or related role is preferred but not required.
  • Openness to learning and adapting to new environments, with a passion for making a positive impact in education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and colleagues effectively.
