Key Responsibilities- Provide essential support and advice on risk and compliance matters to the Secretarial & Business Support department.
- Ensure the firm adheres to Anti-Money Laundering regulations and efficiently manages conflicts of interest during the new business intake process.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable anti-money laundering laws and regulations, international financial sanctions, and professional conduct rules.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats.
- Strong background in anti-money laundering and conflicts management.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to confidently handle low to medium complexity matters with minimal supervision.
- Competence in handling more complex financial crime and risk matters.
- Understanding of relevant compliance rules and regulations, including risks associated with high-risk jurisdictions and politically exposed persons.
