Job Description

We are looking for a Quality, Risk and Audit Officer to join our award-winning team. The successful candidate will have a strong quality management background and experience in implementing and assessing ISO management standards. The role involves contributing to the development and monitoring of our Quality and Compliance Monitoring Plan, undertaking internal audits, and facilitating external audits. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence colleagues at all levels.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain our Quality and Compliance Monitoring Plan, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 standards and conducting internal audits to evidence compliance.
  2. Conduct internal audits across functional areas, providing feedback to facilitate high standards and business performance improvements.
  3. Support external audits for ISO 27001 Information Security and ISO 9001 Quality Assurance, including governance and risk sections.
  4. Contribute to the development and testing of our Business Continuity Plan/Disaster recovery plan, working with stakeholders to ensure plan effectiveness.
  5. Assist in implementing GDPR protocols, collaborating with stakeholders on document retention policies and data cleansing.
  6. Lead the recording, monitoring, and reporting of incidents to improve quality and identify trends through Management Information.
  7. Contribute to regular analysis and review of Management Information to identify trends impacting compliance, quality, or other areas, and agree a plan with stakeholders to embed lessons learned.
  8. Support process mapping and regular reviews for all Group functions.
  9. Produce analysis and reporting to key stakeholders on business risks.
Requirements
  1. Significant quality management experience in a similar role.
  2. Competence in implementing/assessing/monitoring ISO management standards, ISO 9001:2015 and/or ISO 27001.
  3. Experience in auditing and monitoring operational processes for quality assurance.
  4. Creative and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
  6. Experience in the financial sector, particularly in the pensions industry, is advantageous.
