About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading architectural projects and teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Manage and mentor junior architects, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in our projects.
Requirements
  • Extensive post-qualification experience as a Project Architect, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
  • ARB registration and Part Three RIBA qualification, with a deep understanding of UK Building and Planning regulations.
  • Proven experience in project delivery and management, with a focus on conservation and heritage projects.
  • Strong design and technical skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and NBS.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Leadership experience, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire teams.
