Experienced Building Administrator for Special Projects

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our Special Projects team as a Building Assessments Administrator on a Fixed Term Contract basis.
The position offers the opportunity to gain experience in legal aspects of project management while developing knowledge in building safety.

Job Responsibilities:- Manage instructions to consultants, including raising purchase orders and arranging the signing of relevant appointment documents.
- Liaise with responsible entities' representatives and progress necessary licences and legal agreements required for building investigations through appointed solicitors.
- Monitor the progress of assessments and reports to ensure delivery on programme.
- Report on actual deliveries against programme.
- Organise pre-start meetings and attend when necessary.
- Ensure the timely issue of information internally.
- Confident enough to be sufficiently persistent with team members and consultants to get things out of them when required.
- Make telephone calls to/receive calls from management companies etc.
- Administration – good time management and organisation skills in helping the team with setting and liaising with external consultants for meetings.
- Organisation skills in filing away important documents when received i.e. email correspondence, consultant proposals, agreements etc.
