About the Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled Educational Welfare Officer to join our team in Sunderland. As an Educational Psychologist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective child-centred, evidence-based practices that support the educational and emotional needs of children and young people.

The successful candidate will have a Post Graduate Degree in Educational Psychology and hold (or be working towards completion) a post-graduate qualification in Education Psychology. They will be passionate about working with children and young people and have a commitment to helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective child-centred, evidence-based practices
  • Support children and young people to improve their educational achievement, emotional well-being, and independence
  • Work closely with our staff to develop and deliver high-quality services

Salary: £46,525 - £56,540 per annum (extending up to £61,848)
