About the Role:



We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Psychology Teacher to join our faculty at Wayman Learning Trust, a reputable secondary school in Wandsworth. This full-time permanent position offers a unique opportunity to cultivate a passion for human mind and behavior in young learners.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Design and deliver engaging Psychology lessons that align with the national curriculum and our educational ethos, fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and a deep understanding of psychological concepts and theories.
  • Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and participation.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Social Sciences or Humanities department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
  • Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in Psychology education.


Qualifications and Experience:




  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level, particularly at Key Stages 4 and 5.
