About the Role:

  • Design and deliver engaging Psychology lessons across all year groups, ensuring alignment with the National Curriculum.
  • Cultivate a stimulating learning environment that promotes critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and a love of exploration.
  • Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of psychological concepts, theories, and research methods.
  • Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE A-Level as applicable).
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Social Sciences department and contribute to school-wide events.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Psychology or a closely related subject.
  • Demonstrates a strong passion for Psychology and a captivating teaching style.
  • Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management.
  • Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
  • Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
