Supporting Children's Mental Health in a Mainstream Primary School Environment
Teaching Personnel is seeking a qualified professional to support the mental health and wellbeing of children in a reputable Primary School in Chorley. The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCO to provide individual and small group support to pupils who require additional SEMH support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with external agencies to provide comprehensive support to children
- Providing individual and small group support to children in need
- Liaising with class teachers to ensure effective communication and support
- Delivering 1:1 sessions in the classroom and intervention rooms
Requirements:
- Qualification up to Degree level
- Ability to build strong relationships with children and families
- Commitment to inclusion and understanding of individual child needs
- Dynamic and resilient approach to supporting children
Working Hours: 8:45-15:30, with some flexibility for staff meetings
Competitive Rates of Pay: £350-£450 per week
Teaching Personnel's Commitment: We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers and provide free child protection and prevent duty training.
