Store Manager Designate Job Description

Role Overview

As a Store Manager Designate at Vision Express, you will embark on a 6-month training and development program designed to prepare you for the role of a Store Manager. This comprehensive program aims to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing colleagues, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and meeting sales targets.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  • Support the recruitment process for the store, working closely with Regional Managers and the Store Support Centre team.
  • Create a positive and productive work environment for your team, ensuring all employees are trained and supported in their roles.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and management skills to motivate and support colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills to translate professional terminology into language understanding for patients.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in maintaining accurate customer records, prescriptions, and requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Confidence, passion, drive, and enthusiasm to excel in the role.
