Role Overview
As a Store Manager Designate at Vision Express, you will embark on a 6-month training and development programme, designed to prepare you for the role of a Store Manager. This comprehensive programme aims to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the role, while also providing hands-on experience in managing day-to-day store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing colleagues, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining store standards.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and encourage team members to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Support colleagues in store with strong leadership and management skills, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, improve sales performance, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager and Store Support Centre colleagues to achieve store goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills, with the ability to translate professional terminology into language understanding for patients.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate customer records, prescriptions, and requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Confidence, passion, drive, and enthusiasm, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
