Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at The Forum School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our young people, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and care to our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage and support our young people to participate in activities and therapies that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive living environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex needs, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our young people, families, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered support that promotes the autonomy and dignity of our young people.
  • A willingness to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • A Level 3 RQF Child and Young Person's Workforce qualification or equivalent experience.
