Contract Details:

  1. Compensation: £700 per day (Inside IR35, Umbrella)
  2. Contract Length: 6 months with the possibility of extension
  3. Work Arrangement: Remote with occasional travel requirements

Core Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement procurement strategies for various capital projects.
  • Engage with interdisciplinary teams to ensure alignment of contracts with project execution and procurement strategies.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and cultivate supplier partnerships to enhance project results.
  • Deliver regular updates on procurement metrics to senior management.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in procurement for industrial or construction projects.
  • Experience in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or Chemicals is preferred.
  • Background in managing CAPEX projects.
  • Proven negotiation capabilities and experience with major engineering and contracting firms.
  • Familiarity with quality standards, methodologies, and processes.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a Business or Technical discipline, or MCIPS certification.
