Defence Procurement Senior Consultant

Are you a seasoned procurement professional with a background in Defence? We are seeking a Defence Procurement Senior Consultant to join our team at the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies across Ministry of Defence (MoD) projects, delivering innovative and value-driven solutions.
  • Manage the entire procurement lifecycle from sourcing to contract management and supplier engagement, ensuring compliance with MoD procurement regulations and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with defence sector clients to understand their procurement needs and deliver tailored solutions, driving cost savings and enhancing operational efficiencies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and guidance on procurement best practices and ensuring the delivery of substantial value.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in procurement within the MoD or wider defence sector, with expertise across any procurement categories, including goods, services, or technology.
  • Strong understanding of MoD procurement regulations, including OJEU and Defence contracting frameworks.
