About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist to join our Nuclear Medicine Physics team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and ambitious team in a major teaching centre with excellent opportunities for research and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support our Clinical Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine, PET and Molecular Radiotherapy (MRT) services
  • Contribute to the group's growing involvement in research
  • Provide scientific advice and support to the team
  • Work with ionising radiation and ensure radiation protection
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • HCPC Registered Clinical Scientist for Nuclear Medicine Physics
  • Experience in diagnostic Nuclear Medicine and PET applications
  • Experience in Radionuclide Therapy and Dosimetry
  • Practical experience in Radiation Protection related to NM and PET
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
