Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Services Officer to join our team at Ad Warrior. As a Financial Services Officer, you will be responsible for providing financial assistance and support to our customers in the Ealing borough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial assistance and support to customers in the Ealing borough
- Visit customers in their homes to complete financial circumstances forms and provide benefit advice
- Undertake benefit checks and provide guidance on local authority finance and adult social care charging policies
- Work in a hybrid environment, both from home and in the Ealing offices
- Communicate effectively with customers, staff, and external agencies
- Deal with high volume workloads and maintain attention to detail and accuracy
Requirements:
- Educated to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- Experience of operating mainframe IT systems to manage customer caseloads
- Experience of working in a team and using own initiative to undertake day-to-day tasks
- Experience of working in a face-to-face capacity with vulnerable customers and members of the public
- Comprehensive knowledge of local government finance, Department for Work and Pensions legislation, and financial administration
- Ability to receive training and guidance relevant to the post
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
