Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team at TechWaves Recruitment. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services, and will be responsible for conducting inspections, testing, and measuring parts and components to verify conformance to drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Input inspection data and information into the Quality database.
  • Verify conformance to drawings and specifications by inspecting, testing, and measuring parts/components as part of the goods in process.
  • Produce Non-Conformance Reports for failed parts, and work alongside the Supplier Quality Engineer for NCR resolution process across the supplier portfolio.
  • Ensure metrology equipment is fully calibrated.
  • Use the MRP system and when inspection is complete transferring parts into stock/Quarantine.
  • Participate in root cause investigation and corrective actions for supplier quality concerns.

Requirements

  • Experience in a Quality team as a Quality Inspector.
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools for measurement and problem-solving.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
