Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Prodrive, a leading independent motorsport company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all supplied components meet our high standards of quality and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supplier Audit and Quality System Assessment: Prioritize and conduct supplier audits and quality system assessments to ensure compliance with our quality standards.
  2. Quality Record Management: Establish, maintain, and report on external quality records to ensure accurate tracking and analysis of quality performance.
  3. Collaboration with Engineering: Liaise closely with our Engineering team to support project delivery and control in accordance with our Business Operating Procedures.
  4. Component Inspection and Measurement: Coordinate inspection and measurement of components as required, including dimensional inspection of sensitive and safety-critical components to Prodrive Limited drawings and specifications.
  5. Reverse Engineering and Quality Performance Monitoring: Support Engineering in activities of reverse engineering of components utilizing key measurement equipment and monitor quality and delivery performance through monthly reviews and KPIs.

Requirements

  1. Education and Experience: A higher national certificate (HNC) or equivalent in an Engineering discipline, with previous experience in SQA roles and activities within the automotive sector, preferably in motorsport.
  2. Technical Skills: Computer literate with competency in the MS Office suite of programs, knowledge of inspection instruments and techniques, and a competent understanding of engineering drawings.
