Senior Living Support Coordinator

NHS Scotland is dedicated to providing exceptional care for individuals with complex neurological conditions. We are currently seeking a Senior Living Support Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

This role involves working 37.5 hours per week, with a variety of shifts, including weekends on a rotational basis.

As part of our commitment to enhancing our facilities, we have expanded our capacity to accommodate more residents, ensuring that we can provide the highest level of support.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering personalized care tailored to each individual's needs, which includes assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Administering medication in accordance with established protocols, ensuring accurate logging and security of all medications.
  • Assisting residents with household tasks, including laundry and cleaning, to maintain a safe and welcoming living environment.
  • Planning and preparing meals in collaboration with residents, based on their specific dietary requirements.
  • Supporting residents during community outings, ensuring they have the necessary resources for a successful experience.
  • Documenting daily activities and communicating relevant information to team members.

To excel in this role, you should be a motivated and compassionate individual, dedicated to helping others achieve their potential while managing complex health challenges. Flexibility is essential, as you will be required to cover various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred qualifications include experience in a similar care environment and an SVQ level 3 qualification, or a willingness to pursue this certification. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are equipped to meet the specific care needs of our residents.
